I’ve heard about exigence back in junior year of High School, but I never understood what it meant. However, because of this class I was able to re-learn what the definition is as well as gain a better understanding of it. Exigence is basically very specific and can be personal to the writer at times, but it can also be what leads towards the demand of your writing.

Figure 1 is the example that I will provide below which is from my reflection paper from the Technical Description assignment. In this example you can see how I explained the reason as to why I created a Technical Description about the Sakura Pigma Micron Pen.
