I’d like to say that I underestimated this element before this class, but taking this class showed me that it in fact is one of the most important element out of the six. Ever since I took writing for engineers I believe that my approach on using audience in my writing has definitely changed. I believe that  audience is simply just intended towards a person who you are willing to do research about to know their background, education, as well as checking to see if they have experiences with the subject.

We were given a template of how our audience analysis profile sheet should look like. I used this template as a guide so I can be able to create the audience analysis. Below I will provide an example of how I used the template below (Figure 1)

This example of me using the audience analysis profile sheet was when I created my memo which my intended audience was Celia Lloyd who is the Vice President of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.
