“Practice using various library resources, online databases, and the Internet to locate sources appropriate to your writing “

The day the librarian came to help us navigate the CCNY, she explained to us the importance of using the online database that is provided. She would then talk about the benefits of using the online database and the many other databases that we were able to access using our CUNY emails. I found this helpful because I had no clue that we even had our very own database. In addition, it made it so much easier to do research for many of our major assignments. But, eventually we would need to source our information using APA format and we were able to do it on the CCNY database easily. Here’s an example (Figure 1)  of how easy it was to cite our reference page using the CCNY Database.
