Engineering Proposal

The Engineering Proposal is a document that must persuade the audience by creating solutions to a problem that is reoccurring. For an engineering proposal you would need to find a certain problem that already exists and try to propose a solution that will eventually gain you permission to solve.

  • Summary: The summary describes the major elements of the proposal.
  • Introduction: For the introduction, it provides context so that the audience gains a better understanding of why exactly the proposal is being written.
  • Problem: For the problem is states the conflict of the situation we’re trying to prevent.
  • Objectives: For objectives you’d want to state what you’re trying to accomplish.
  • Solution: Explain the possible solutions of how you’ll be able to prevent the problem.
  • Methods: The methods section is practically the technical description of the project that was presented in our PowerPoint.
  • Resources: This would include a couple your groups credentials as well as yours.
  • Management: For this section, you’d want write about the budget and how much the overall project would cost.
  • Appendixes: In the Appendix, you’d want to include a task schedule, network diagram, and etc.
